Terms and conditions
FinnTar Oy (Ampeeritie 7, 21530 Paimio, Business ID: 2954413-2, [email protected], tel. +358 40 563 4573 ) sells products to consumers and companies in Finland. The product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to price and delivery cost changes.
Payment and payment method
As payment method, we use Checkout, which has a payment institution license issued by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The Checkout service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (Business ID 2196606-6) and Checkout Finland Oy is part of the OP Group.
The Checkout payment service provider transfers your payment to the seller, Finntar Oy. Hence, your webshop purchases show as Checkout Finland Oy on your bank statement or credit card invoice.
Direct bank payments
Available to you are all Finnish banks’ payment buttons. You can pay via Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken. On your bank statement, is says Checkout Finland Oy, who transfers your payment to the webshop holder. From the webshop, you will be directed straight to your own bank to complete the payment safely.

Credit card payments
In the webshop, you can pay with the following cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express. The webshop uses the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Checkout shows as the payment receiver on the credit card invoice and transfers the card payment directly to the seller. The card payment is safe through a secure payment form, and the card details are not stored in the webshop systems.
Mobile payment methods
Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto are application-based services that allow web payments as a direct transfer from your account or as a card payment from your credit card by approving the payment in the particular application. Pivo moreover allows Siirto payments, in which case the payment can be approved in any application that supports Siirto.
In case a product has been lost or damaged during transport, or it does not otherwise match your order, you must report the mistake no later than 14 days after receiving it in writing to the email address mentioned under Right of cancellation and return policy, or by calling the number mentioned in the contact details.

The products are ordered in the webshop by transferring them to the shopping cart and by paying the cart contents through the checkout service. All customer data is handled confidentially. Requested contact details are not used for anything else than delivering the order or clarifying ambiguities in connection to the order, unless otherwise mentioned. When ordering from the webshop, you are required to read and commit to the delivery terms in force at the time.

After a successful order, an order confirmation is sent to your email. In order to send a confirmation email, an email address is required to be given in connection to the order.
Delivery methods and fees
You can see the delivery fee of your order on the delivery and payment method choice page. We deliver the orders through Matkahuolto. Recorded shipments can be tracked with a shipment code. The delivery method and fee depends on the content of the delivery.
The delivery method options are (1) delivery to destination (we reserve the right to choose the transportation provider) or (2) pickup.
Our most common delivery times in Finland are, depending on the order and delivery method, 3-5 week days. A more specific time is announced in connection to the product options. We do not take responsibility for delays caused by force majeure or indirect inconvenience caused by the delays. We do not either take responsibility for any schedule changes or delays of the transportation provider we have selected. Abnormal delivery times that we are aware of will be announced on the front page of the webshop.
Right of cancellation and return policy
The right of cancellation does not apply to company customers. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, consumer customers have the right to cancel the order within 14 days from receiving the order. The right of cancellation does, however, not apply to products manufactured or modified according to the customer’s request. In the cancellation notice, the consumer must write their name, address, order date and product, and it should be sent by email to: [email protected] or by mail to the return address below. The product must be returned unused, in its original condition and in its original package by mail within 14 days from receiving the order. The return fees are under the responsibility of the customer. Attach a copy of the cancellation notice together with the product return. In case the product has been used, we reserve the right to invoice for depreciation.
We refund the paid amount in its entirety within [14 days] from receiving the cancellation notice, as long as the product has been returned within that time. The refund is made according to the payment method used in the order.
